About Tien Wealth
A Place to Sit with Your Finances
Tien Wealth was founded on a simple idea: that adults at 40 and beyond deserve financial education that respects their experience, their pace, and the real complexity of their household lives.

How Tien Wealth Came to Be
Tien Wealth opened in Pattaya in early 2019, after years of conversations between a small group of adult educators who had noticed the same gap: the financial education available in Thailand was aimed almost entirely at younger adults or at active investors. It rarely addressed the quieter, more complicated financial lives of people in their forties, fifties, and beyond.
The name comes from the Thai word เทียน — a candle — and reflects the programme philosophy: not a bright overhead light that overwhelms, but a steadier, more intimate source of clarity that helps you read what is already in the room.
The programmes have always been kept small. From the beginning, the maximum group size has been ten participants, because real learning about money requires the freedom to ask questions that feel personal, without an audience of strangers.
Our Mission
What We Are Here to Do
Our purpose is straightforward: to help adults who are 40 or older read their financial landscape with greater comprehension. Not to tell them what to do with their money. Not to sell them products. Not to create urgency where none is warranted.
The programmes we offer are structured around the financial topics that tend to matter most at this stage of life: understanding how Thai funds and indices actually work, finding a way to hold an honest annual conversation about household money, and thinking carefully about the appropriate use of credit when a household carries many obligations at once.
We are based in North Pattaya and welcome participants from across Chonburi province and the Eastern Seaboard. Enquiries from Bangkok and further afield are also welcome; details of scheduling can be discussed at the time of contact.

Our Standards
How We Work
Participant Confidentiality
Personal financial information shared during sessions is never disclosed outside the programme. Participants are asked to extend the same respect to fellow attendees.
No Conflicts of Interest
We do not hold commercial arrangements with fund providers, banks, or financial product distributors. Our fee comes from participants, not from third parties with products to sell.
Content Accuracy
All programme content is reviewed before each cohort to reflect current Thai regulatory frameworks, market structures, and any relevant changes to fund classifications or credit regulations.
Adult Learning Principles
Facilitation methods draw on established frameworks for adult learners: building on existing knowledge, using real examples, allowing time for reflection, and respecting the experience participants already bring.
Data Protection
Registration details and contact information are held securely and used only for programme administration. We follow Thai data protection guidelines and do not share participant data with external organisations.
Post-Programme Support
Participants may contact us by email within three months of completing a programme with questions arising from the material. We cannot provide individual financial advice, but we can help clarify content covered in sessions.
Values and Expertise
The Principles That Shape Our Work
Financial literacy for people in their forties and fifties carries a particular weight. The decisions being made — or avoided — at this stage of life tend to have longer consequences than those made at 25. A misreading of how a mutual fund distributes income, or a poorly understood credit commitment taken on in a household already balancing school fees, a mortgage, and ageing parents, can take years to unwind. Tien Wealth was created specifically to address that weight with care.
The Thai financial landscape is not straightforward. The SET index behaves differently from global indices. The fund classifications used by the SEC differ in important ways from European or American frameworks. Credit products marketed in Thailand often carry terms that require careful reading, particularly for households without recent experience of formal credit. Our programmes are written for this specific context, not adapted from materials produced for a different market.
We believe that the most useful thing a financial education programme can do for an adult learner is help them ask better questions — of their fund statements, of their bank, of their spouse, of themselves. Our sessions are designed around that aim. We do not measure success by the number of new accounts opened after a programme, because we have no financial relationship with any institution. We measure it, more simply, by whether participants tell us they left with a clearer picture of something that had been opaque before.
Our premises on Beach Road in North Pattaya are open for enquiries Monday through Friday. The programmes run on a scheduled cohort basis throughout the year, with dates published on request. We are a small operation and have no plans to scale beyond what allows for careful facilitation.
